The Chicago White Sox play in the American League Central, a league all over the place as far as who will take the division.  Detroit remains a powerhouse with a great lineup and rotation but may not stay on top forever.  Minnesota seems to find a way to be competitive and Cleveland has tons of young talent that could be a force if they develop.

The White Sox have been around since before 1900 and have had more success in Chicago, even if they do not boast the fan base of their counterparts.  Their World Series titles came in 1906, 1917, and 2005.  After the 1917 title the team went through a bit of a rough patch with a scandal that they fixed the 1919 World Series.  While they had some success since then, it seems as though the scandal put something of a curse on the team.  Some of the greatest White Sox players have been Minnie Minoso, Dick Allen, and Frank Thomas.  The team is now held together with veterans Adam Dunn and Paul Konerko, but has some youth components that give them hope for the future too.
