The Houston Astros currently play in the National League Central, however will be moving to the American League in 2013. Currently the Cardinals and Reds seem to be on top of the division, however are not alone. Milwaukee is competitive every year and Pittsburgh looks like they are on the rise with some promising talent.
Houston joined Major League Baseball in 1962 as the Houston Colt .45’s. They have gained some success over their history, but never a World Series ring. Some of the best players to come through Houston include Nolan Ryan and the “Killer B’s” in Craig Biggio and Jeff Bagwell. Houston is currently in a rebuilding mode but have some key pieces to look forward to with Jose Altuve and Lucas Harrell.
